«After the necessary formal transition of the ownership of three logistic parks, Kolpino in Saint Petersburg, Tolmachevo in Novosibirsk and Pyshma in Yekaterinburg, we plan to expand the facilities up to the size of 750 thousands of square meters. We plan not only to develop the infrastructure but to rise the quality of service and increase our customer reach.» — told BTA bank owner, Kenges Rakishev.
BTA Bank plan is to become the third-largest storage facilities owner in Russia. Therefore the existing complexes will be expanded and developed. As for now nearly 100 percent of storage facilities owned by BTA are occupied, Kenges Rakishev stated. Major retail chains are the main customers.
Logistic parks market is booming as a result of the internet sales. Customers need fast delivery and effective storage technology. Logistic parks are first class business, Kenges Rakishev points out.
