Apple testing iPhones with three cameras and USB-C connector Pin It

Apple is not exactly the champion of the industry standards. The company is known for rather peculiar practice of inventing their own short-lived standards than following industry rules. So the report that Apple plans to use dull industry standard USB-C instead of their patented Lightning port caught us by surprise.

Apple may be using three camera lenses on the back of the new iPhones. Also on test are Apple with the USB-C connector instead of a Lightning port.

Apple introduces this year’s new iPhones with three camera lenses on the back, writes the usually well-informed news agency Bloomberg on Wednesday. Apple is considering the Lightning connector to replace the gangbaardere USB-C connector.

In september of this year, Apple with the successors of the iPhone XS and XS, Max, tell insiders. The largest model is reportedly equipped with three cameras on the back. There will also be a new version of the affordable iPhone XR.

From 2020 to get the iPhones as possible, a new camera system, that the environment with lasers in 3D can capture. Bloomberg reports that the system will work within an area of 4.5 metres.

In the most recent iPhones does Apple already has a 3D-camera for a Face ID. Facial recognition in that makes a 3D scan of the face of users to unlock the device, but operates at a maximum distance of approximately 0.5 metres.

The new system would contribute to an enhanced version of augmented reality (AR) on the iPhone, because the device virtual objects more accurately in space. Also, would the depth of field on photos better to see. According to Bloomberg , the 3D-camera system may be a harbinger of an AR-glasses of Apple.

New iPads is coming

In addition to new iPhones, would Apple also have a new iPad Mini want to issue, writes Bloomberg. Were earlier this week, all instructions found in the source code of the iOS 12.2-beta.

Apple wants the iPad Pro may be in the spring of 2020 update. The tablet would also of the 3D camera system are provided.

Dark mode for iOS 13

What a fabulous invention! Maybe it will be declared as the centuries most important. But it will finally happen: iOS will get the decent dark mode. Maybe later.

The company would continue to work on a new dark mode for iOS 13, the new version of the mobile operating system later this year. The mode would be by the whole control system be implemented, allowing the phone to use in the dark less bright it looks.

In addition to a dark mode it would also be a new version of CarPlay on the schedule. With that system enables iPhones to in-car systems are linked. Also, would iPads, an updated home screen, though it is not known how that will look.
