Amazon starts superfast delivery service in UK Pin It

Amazon.com is working on a super fast delivery service in the UK. The service will be called Ultra Fast Fresh and operates from nine older logistics centres, which are specially set up for this purpose. Once the logistics centers have been modernized, they will be able to deliver freshly ordered fresh products to your home in a matter of hours. The new project may involve Amazon Fresh becoming a free part of Amazon Prime.

Now Amazon Fresh is available online as a separate part, paid for per order. Amazon Prime can be used through Prime by paying a fee on the Prime plan. Amazon previously received permission from the UK competition authority to take a share in Deliveroo. An important reason for this permission is because Deliveroo may go bankrupt due to the current corona crisis.
