Major UK retailers increased their prices this month by the highest percentage in almost 11 years. This is shown by a survey that is in line with forecasts that show that inflation in the country will continue to increase.
According to the British Retail Consortium, retail prices rose 2.1% in March, the fastest annual increase since September 2011, after rising 1.8% in February.
The price movement isn’t even at the foothill. Due to rising cost of logistics, gasoline and fertilisers, the prices of the goods are doomed to rise further.
