Tesla delivered 308,600 vehicles in the fourth quarter of 2021. This is a record number for the manufacturer of electric cars. But the best days for Tesla may be over. The competitors are getting stronger.
In total, in 2021, the company sold more than 936, 000 vehicles, an increase of 87 percent compared to 2020. In that year, Tesla delivered just under half a million vehicles.
The figures for the last three months of 2021 were higher than expected. Analysts predicted some 236,000 deliveries. Tesla has repeatedly indicated its long – term commitment to an increase in deliveries of 50 percent year-on-year.
