The Federal Aviation Administration claims to have discovered a new irregularity in the production of some not yet delivered aircraft of Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner. The defects would have been detected during a continuous inspection in the nose area of the aircraft, without any direct implication for flight safety.
According to Reuters, Boeing [LSE:BOE] promised to fix the problems without further comment. Boeing holds approximately 100 787 aircraft in stock.
At the end of June of this year, Boeing [LSE:BOE] also encountered new problems with the new version of the 777X, and in April the drama with the 737 MAX was not over.
