The British economy grew by 0.3 percent in July compared to a month earlier. This is according to figures from the British National Statistics Office.
The economy of Great Britain remained unchanged in June. Economists had generally forecasted an economic growth of 0.1 percent in July.
The statistics office also reported that industrial production fell by 0.3 percent on a monthly basis in July. On average, economists had expected an increase in industrial production of 0.1 percent.
