All passengers who flew to Cardiff on TUI Airways flight 6215 from Zakynthos on Tuesday were informed by the British authorities that they must be quarantined. It turns out there were seven COVID infected on board.
All 193 passengers and crew members of the Boeing 737-800 are considered ‘close contacts’ and must therefore be quarantined. This is mandatory in the UK: if you do not comply with quarantine rules, you can get a high fine.
The seven infectious passengers belonged to three different groups. When they got tested after the flight, they found out they had COVID-19.
