The British economy did not grow in October, nor did it shrink compared to the previous month. This is according to figures from the British Statistical Office.

Economists generally expected 0.1 percent growth. In September, gross domestic product contracted by 0.1 percent.

Also in the three months up to and including October the gross domestic product remained unchanged compared to the previous three months. This corresponded to the average expectation of economists.
