British economy grew faster  than it was expected Pin It

The British economy grew faster than expected in the third quarter. The gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 0.4 percent compared to a quarter earlier, while a provisional estimate still referred to 0.3 percent growth.

According to the national statistics bureau, the important services sector gave growth a boost. The economy grew by 1.1 percent compared to a year ago. That is the slowest pace since early 2018.
