Royal Bank of Scotland gets Alison Rose as the new manager. It is the first time that a woman has taken the helm at a large British bank.
Rose is currently the deputy top executive at Natwest Holdings, the parent company of RBS, which was rigged up a few years ago to comply with new regulations. The new top woman will take office on November 1.
RBS has been looking for a new top manager since April of this year. The current CEO Ross McEwan then announced that he would leave within a year. He has recently been appointed CEO of National Australia Bank.
