New flight and price comparison site launches
Keen traveller Rafi Neumann has set up TravelSpec, which he claims is unique as it gives unbiased information on any scheduled flight anywhere in the world.
Users can regsiter for free and can input any destination they want, and if there isn’t a flight matching their requirements then the site will suggest alternative routes to nearby airports.
Neumann, a 26-year-old entrepreneur from Salford, Greater Manchester developed the website in his bedroom and is looking to expand the service over the next few months to include other forms of travel such as buses, trains, ferries, car hire and hotels. TravelSpec was initially set up to provide listings only but Neumann has now added a price comparison element.
TravelSpec generates revenue from advertisers on his website and also earns commission from some airlines and agents.
