The German software company TeamViewer is planning to go to the Frankfurt trade fair this year. The British owner Permira wants to start selling TeamViewer shares.
Reportedly, Permira is aiming for a valuation for TeamViewer from 4 billion to 5 billion euros. According to sources, the investor plans to sell 30 to 40 percent of TeamViewer to investors. That could become the largest IPO of a technology company in Germany in a long time. Permira took over TeamViewer in 2014 for 870 million euros.
Founded in 2005, TeamViewer is based in Göppingen and supplies products for connecting to online meetings and accessing computers remotely.
