Huawei devices have doubtful security

7th June 2019

Huawei devices have doubtful security Pin It

The security of Huawei products is shaky. That is the director of the National Cyber Security Center of the British government, Ian Levy.

“Huawei builds its products differently than Western colleagues. This is partly due to the fact that they have grown so quickly and, in part, it may be cultural, who knows. We notice that safety is noticeably worse as a result and we have to deal with that ”, says Levy.

Levy also compared Huawei with other companies: “Nothing is perfect. Huawei rattles, others rattle less. ”

Huawei is involved in several countries in the development of 5G internet, the successor of the current mobile internet. However, those countries are under American pressure to break ties with Huawei. The Chinese company is said to be a means by which Chinese rulers can spy.
