F45 plans to go public

16th January 2020

F45 plans to go public Pin It

Workout chain F45, who knows actor and film producer Mark Wahlberg as one of his most famous clients and investors, is considering a stock exchange listing in the United States. The Australian company, which has since settled in Los Angeles, would have applied for it. Sources reported this to Bloomberg news agency. The walk to the stock exchange could be made before the summer.

The name F45 is a combination of the term Functional Training and the duration of the workouts of 45 minutes. The chain approach, known for its high-intensity interval and circuit training, has tempted multiple celebrities and athletes to come and play sports. In addition to Wahlberg, actor Mario Lopez, basketball stars Dwayne Wade and Jimmy Butler and other athletes such as Calvin Johnson and Max Domi are also regular customers.

Wahlberg took a minority interest in F45 last year, which hung a $ 450 million price tag on the chain. In just one month, the company managed to attract a hundred new franchisees. The company offers its teaching package in at least forty countries, including at various universities. The company would also hold talks with the US military about the introduction to training.
