Not again: Australians hoarding the toilet paper Pin It

Toiled paper hoarding will be remembered as an iconic trend for 2020 COVID-19 outbreak. It’s hard to say what drives people crazy about the toilet tissue, but the fact stays where it is: toilet paper piles are the most pronounced sign of the pandemic.

Australian supermarket chains again set a limit on Friday in the amount of toilet paper customers can buy after another run in the state of Victoria. The number of infections with the coronavirus has risen rapidly there and people are afraid that another curfew will be imposed.

Woolworths and Coles, which together account for two-thirds of total grocery sales in the country, still sell up to one or two packs of toilet paper per customer after pictures of empty shelves in stores appeared on social media.
