Vodafone increased Q3 turnover thanks to German market growth Pin It

Telecom giant Vodafone managed to increase its turnover in the third quarter of its broken financial year. The company benefited from the earlier billions deal with Liberty Global. In 2018, the British took over the European cable activities from the Americans.

All in all, the turnover of the company increased by 0.8 percent. The strengthened network is now the basis for Vodafone’s growth in a market where there is strong competition from, in particular, low costers.

Customers were won especially in Germany, where Vodafone achieves around a quarter of its turnover. The extra turnover in the largest economy in Europe was needed to compensate for the lower yields in the southern European member states. Vodafone also earned more money in South Africa.

Vodafone can use the extra income well. The British company is responsible for the necessary network investments.
