Today is the Big Day for Unilever Pin It

Shares of the Unilever group of commodities and food products will be traded at the stock exchanges in London, Amsterdam and New York on Monday for the first time as a full British company. This weekend the group’s legal move was completed. According to Unilever chairman Nils Andersen, Monday is a “big day” for the British company.

In a statement, Andersen once again thanked Unilever’s shareholders who made the legal move possible. By simplifying the structure, Unilever is said to be better able to make strategic changes to the portfolio.

The company emphasised once again that no changes will be made to the activities and locations. Nor is there any intervention in the workforce in either The United Kingdom or the Netherlands.

Rotterdam is and will remain the home of Unilever Foods & Refreshment division. The parts Home Care and Beauty & Personal Care remain located in the United Kingdom.
