Nasdaq withdrawal is good for Euronext Pin It

It is good news for Euronext shareholders that Nasdaq competitor has stopped fight for the takeover of Oslo Børs. That is the conclusion of an ING analyst.

Euronext already claimed the victory in the takeover battle with Nasdaq. Nasdaq has now officially withdrawn its takeover bid for all privileged shares.

According to ING, the most important question now is what the two largest shareholders of Oslo Børs do. They had previously promised their support to Nasdaq. Euronext has indicated that they want to talk to them.

ING has buying advice for Euronext with a target price of 65 euros. The share was 0.2 percent higher at EUR 64.25 around 09.40.
