The American industrial concern Honeywell has posted a turnover of 41.8 billion dollars in 2018, an increase of 3 percent. The company sold more products for the aerospace industry, such as aircraft engines and cockpit components. Revenue also increased in the automation branch of distribution centers.
This means that turnover is within the expectation announced in October. Net profit was almost $ 6.8 billion, compared to more than $ 1.5 billion in 2017. Then Honeywell had to put a billion-dollar charge into account for US tax reforms.
The company recently split its divisions in the field of housing and transport systems. Adjusted for these divestments, Honeywell expects a turnover of 36 billion to 36.9 billion dollars by 2019. That would amount to a comparable sales growth of 2 to 5 percent.
