Security company G4S could still be in Canadian hands. Competitor Garda World announced that it had made a bid of nearly £ 3 billion (EUR 3.3 billion). With this, Garda World makes another attempt. The Canadians have come to G4S more often in recent years.

G4S, which has been plagued by a series of scandals in recent years, is active in dozens of countries and employs hundreds of thousands of people. According to Garda World, it is the company’s third attempt in the last few months to reach an agreement with the company’s management. But they didn’t give up yet.

The last attempt means of 190 pence per share means a 30 percent premium on Friday’s closing price. In terms of Garda World’s first attempt to get its hands on G4S, there is a premium of 86%.
