Fraudsters try to profit on Thomas Cook Group bankruptcy Pin It

Fraudsters try to take advantage of the situation around Thomas Cook. A warning is given to callers who claim to arrange reimbursements for Thomas Cook customers.

The fraudsters are chasing residents across the country. It would not have taken long before the first reports of fraudsters making use of the situation arrived.

Fraudsters claim to call on behalf of the “Thomas Cook refund department” and ask consumers to provide their bank details so that they can continue to repay. This information is then used to commit financial fraud.
