Prince Harry and his wife Meghan are showered with congratulations after the birth of their son. Doria Ragland, the mother of Meghan, is “in the clouds” with the birth of her first grandchild. She is with her daughter in Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

The entire British royal family has been informed of the birth of the son of Harry and Meghan. Queen Elizabeth, her husband Philip, Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, William and Catherine and the brothers and sisters of the late Princess Diana, mother of Prince Harry, say in a joint message that they are delighted with the news of the birth.

Many British politicians also send congratulations to the world, including Prime Minister Theresa May:

“I wish you all the best in these happy times.” The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, congratulated the couple with a message on Twitter. “May God bless the family with love, health and happiness,” tweeted the leader of the Anglican Church.

Thomas Markle, Meghan’s father, also announced on Monday that he was happy with the birth of his grandson. Through The Sun, he said “to be proud that his grandson will grow up in the British royal family”.
