Detailed plans have been made in London to bring bankers, accountants and lawyers back to work in the business district of Canary Wharf. Once the number of infections decreases further, they should be able to get back to work, the Financial Times reports.
The plans state, among other things, that there will be special walking routes, that extra cleaning will be done daily and that fewer people will be allowed to use the lifts at the same time. Furniture with fabric upholstery is also removed as much as possible.
Canary Wharf is home to the European headquarters of Barclays, Citigroup and HSBC, among others.
