British specialty chemical company builds hand factory in ten days Pin It

British specialty chemical company Ineos will build a trading plant in the UK within ten days. The plant will be located near the town of Middlesbrough in the North East of England. Ineos wants to produce 1 million bottles of hand gel per month there. Ineos wants to set up a comparable factory in Germany.

Ineos expects to be able to meet the high demand of the medical staff during times of the corona pandemic. Therefore, the hand gel will be delivered free of charge to hospitals. In addition, small bottles of cleansing hand gel for personal use can be sold to European schools, companies, pharmacies and supermarkets.

It is not yet known when construction will start and how much money Ineos will spend on the new factory.
