British and Dutch authorities have opened an investigation into possible tampering with the trade in biodiesel by Greenergy, a supplier of motor fuel. Four people were arrested. They have since been released without being charged with anything.
That is what the British Serious Fraud Office says. In the investigation, the anti-corruption cooperates with the Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate (ILT). As part of the investigation, locations were searched in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Belgium at the end of last month.
The company says it cooperates with the authorities, but does not want to respond further to questions because the investigation is still ongoing.
